Development
I started out building websites around 2002. It started as another fun skill to pick up in addition to creating art and recording music, then it grew into something I specialized in, and was my main professional focus. Over the years, I’ve seen many different tools come and go, but the thing that remains consistent is solving a specific problem, or getting a specific result for a business.
As far as my current tools, My main focus for quite sometime has been the Javascript ecosystem, from the client to the server. I have built my fair share of sites throughout the years using tools like PHP, ASP.NET, and various CMS frameworks, even back to Flash, Flex and Actionscript (gasp), but my personal explorations have left me studying and using more modern architecture since around 2015, with the rapidly changing world of Front-end. I'm right at home with SPA architecture, API development, client or server rendered Javascript, headless CMS, and various JAMstack frameworks and workflows.
I've always loved the intersection of design and development, and I enjoy the significance of a smooth user experience and great interaction in an effective user interface.
